A Jewish widow
and her two teenage sons...

A Muslim widower
and his infant daughter...

When Fate & Faith Collide

A doctor out for a jog is struck dead by a car. Somewhere else on Long Island a woman dies during childbirth. As a result, a young Arab architect has to raise his newborn daughter in a now-hollow home with no mother; an elegant Jewish woman and her two teenage sons must somehow adjust to their fatherless home.

When their fates and faiths collide, these sad souls turned soul-mates rediscover long-forgotten emotions with unforeseen fervor. Through a series of vivid flashbacks, we learn of Ha-med’s childhood spent experiencing the inhumanities of his war-ravaged West bank village and Carole’s ancestors who survived gruesome pogroms and Nazi atrocities.

As this spiraling tale of prejudice and open-mindedness appears to plateau, it returns to present day New York City and crescendos into a turbo-charged adventure with an action-packed nail-biting finale.

"A child is God's opinion that the world should go on."
-Carl Sandburg
